It is with great sadness that Bishop David P. Talley and our Diocese share the passing of Father Elbert R. Callis.
Father Callis entered eternal life last evening, Monday, May 5, at Ave Maria Home. He was ordained into the Priesthood of Jesus Christ on November 27, 1976.
Please join us in praying for the repose of Father Callis’s soul, and pray for peace and strength for all his family and friends that are suffering through his loss.
May God grant him eternal rest. Further information on Father Callis, along with his funeral arrangements, will be forthcoming.
